Abstract
Background. In modern literature, research in the field of cultural-philosophical problems with reliance on religious and theological material is becoming particularly important. The relevance of this paper is due to the fact that it undertakes an independent and original interpretation of the problem of intercultural communications in the context of interreligious interactions. The article also actualises the socio-civilizational theme in the context of criticism of postmodern philosophy and modern practices emanating from postmodernism. The aim of this paper is to identify and analyse intercultural interaction in the context of the current challenges, going beyond the theory of communication as a scientific discipline, moving to the level of formation of civilizational reflection and return to the historical and cultural foundations of the formation of national and state communities. Materials and Methods. The philosophical and methodological analysis of the works of domestic authors in the field of social philosophy was carried out. The phenomenological approach and the descriptive method were used in analysing the material. Results. The article analyses theological constructions aimed at preserving and strengthening the values of traditional religions of Russia. The value of love determines the inner spiritual work of man as a person. The ontology of the spiritual foundations of man is retranslated into forms of cultural activity, including the nature of intercultural communications. Conclusions. Contrary to globalisation trends and new comprehension of the role of man in the world and the plurality of variants of his identities, at the root of the preservation of civilisation, and, as a consequence, of the spiritual foundations of man, his mental and worldview aspects, communication is built, first of all, on respect, on the recognition of the highest values, such as love, goodness, faith, honour and honesty. These are the basic principles of value interaction of interhuman communication, on this axiom the connection between man and the world is built, as well as integrity, which he feels and retranslates into forms of activity, putting in them eternal spiritual meanings.
